My roots are shared between Michigan and Florida. I started elementary school in Michigan, but moved to Florida and attended Seminole County Public Schools, eventually graduating from Oviedo High School. I had the opportunity to play lacrosse in college, so I made my way back to my home state of Michigan to attend Calvin College and study computer science. After my first year of college, I was lucky enough to get an internship as a software engineer at Symantec and moved permanently to Florida where I continued my education, graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelors in Computer Science. In the past ten years, I have moved through the computer science world as a software engineer, a consultant, and a product manager within Universal Parks and Resorts where I gained experience and knowledge in building apps, websites, and technological systems that users around the world enjoy.

I am happily married to my wife Jillian and a proud animal dad to Coda and Millie. When I'm not working, I enjoy watching football, being in the outdoors and fishing, and hanging out with my family.

Educational Leadership

Educational professional with a master's in leadership and over nine years of higher secondary teaching experience, consistently analyzing and developing new ideas to better assist my team and accelerate my students' growth.

I am a Florida native, growing up in the Central Florida region my entire life. I attended all Seminole County schools--Geneva Elementary, Jackson Heights Middle, and Oviedo High School. My love of the area continued while attending the University of Central Florida where I graduated with my bachelors degree in Social Science Education in 2017. I continued my education while teaching and earned my Masters in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education in 2019. The first ten years of my career were in the classroom, the majority within Seminole County Public Schools at Lake Howell High School and then the final year within the Diocese of Orlando at Bishop Moore Catholic. I am a life-long learner and educator and love having the opportunity to help schools and organizations be more efficient and beneficial to our community as a whole.

I love being married to Mikal and being an animal mom to Coda & Millie. My favorite days are College Gameday Saturdays and days spent at the beach or the pool. My go-to fun fact: I am the only left-handed person in my family.

Hi, I was adopted in 2020 from the CatsCan Organization in Oviedo. I love meowing until I'm fed, chasing lizards, acting like a dog, and pretending to be a rye loaf of bread.

FUN FACT: While I respond to none of them, I have over twenty nicknames. Some of my nicknames depend on the day or what I am doing, such as: Rye Loaf, Chilly Millie, Milbo Baggins, Creepy Cat, or Crazy Cat.

HELLO! I was adopted in 2023 from Golden Rescue South Florida. I LOVE chasing anything that moves because that obviously means it wants to play. You can find me in my Nana's pool, having zoomies in my backyard, or laying on the couch pretending no one sees me.

FUN FACT: I have over fifteen nicknames that I respond to if you say it with a happy tone! My top nicknames are: Codes, Boba, Boba Girl, Coba Bear, Boba Bear, and Coder.
